The Creators Program

Four Creative Domains, TK Through 8th Grade

The Creators Program is Page Academy's dedicated arts curriculum, and it runs alongside the academics as part of the school day rather than as an after-school option. Every Page student is in the program, working across four creative domains that together cover what it takes to make a finished creative project, present it to an audience, and understand the careers built around that kind of work.

Younger students rotate broadly through every domain, older students choose where to go deeper, and by eighth grade every Page student has spent years making, performing, producing, and presenting work, which is what produces a graduate who can finish a project and show it.

Four Domains, One Curriculum

PERFORMING ARTS

Theater, voice, movement, dance, and music, anchored by the school's stage productions. Younger grades hold ensemble parts, and older students take on lead roles along with direction and design responsibility.

VISUAL ARTS & DESIGN

Drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, and set and costume design. Students learn the techniques of each medium and use them to make finished work for exhibitions and the stage.

PRODUCTION & TECH

Lighting, sound, stage management, and video production. From upper elementary on, students don't just appear on stage, they help run the show behind it.

BUSINESS OF CREATIVE WORK

Pitching, branding, and building an audience. Students learn how creative projects get made and shared, and how the people who do this work for a living build their careers.
